Cimi-Shield Green Bed Bug Control kills bed bugs on contact, eliminates infestations and prevents re-infestation for up to one year, according to the company. The non-toxic product offers a 12-month residual on textile surfaces (mattresses, carpeting, drapes, furniture etc.), and in cracks and crevices. Made with Residulen, a soybean oil extract, Cimi-Shield is hypoallergenic and odor- and stain-free. It is applied with a pump sprayer and dissolves the bed bug’s waxy cuticle for control. The Environmental Protection Agency has classified it under FIFRA 25(b), and it is a Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) product.
