FAIRFAX, VA.—The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has appointed Bennett Jordan as entomologist/staff scientist. In this position, Jordan will play an integral role in providing technical services and developing educational resources for NPMA members.

Jordan will complete his doctorate in urban entomology from the University of Florida this summer, and has previously served as a research assistant for the Urban Entomology Laboratory at the University of Florida. He has authored numerous articles and provided many educational sessions on topics such as Formosan termite control, bait evaluation methods, and detecting and treating drywood termite infestations.

“We are delighted to have Bennett join us,” says NPMA Executive Vice President Bob Rosenberg. “His extensive background in laboratory and field research makes him an ideal addition to our team.”
