SOUTH ELGIN, IL—McCloud Services will be very busy this March, attending two major conferences. The Fourth Annual Food Manufacturing & Safety Forum, which will be held March 10-11 in Dallas, will bring together leaders in food manufacturing, safety and quality from across the country to examine issues affecting the industry. The second conference, the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) Convention & Expo, will provide a networking and educational experience for third-party logistic company leaders, and will take place March 23-25 in Phoenix.
Food Manufacturing & Safety Forum
This annual summit will bring together more than 200 senior-level food professionals to network, study and learn best industry practices. Some of the key themes that will be discussed this year are: complying with new FSMA guidelines, preparing for evolving food safety initiatives, optimizing production and enhancing food quality and food safety processes.
The forum will also feature presentations by some of the leading food industry executives, including Bradd Eldridge, director of quality with Abbott Nutrition, Ken Dean, director of quality systems at Nestle Purina and Priya Rathnam, a compliance specialist for the FDA.
IWLA Annual Convention & Exposition
With a theme of “It’s About Your People,” the 2014 event gathers third-party logistic leaders from around the world to discover the latest products and services to make their companies more efficient and more profitable. It includes social, educational and council meetings, as well as one-on-one networking opportunities to build relationships.
