The XLure Multi-Species Beetle Floor Trap has been designed specifically for the effective monitoring and trapping of a wide range of stored product pests. The design ensures that the trap can be used in the dustiest of conditions, with no reduction in efficiency and will not spill any liquid if accidentally kicked over. It features multiple pheromones to attract cigarette, red and confused flour, Khapra and warehouse beetles, plus a food lure to attract additional stored product pests. In the bottom of the trapping pit is a filter paper soaked in wheat germ oil, which is a powerful attractant for a wide range of beetles. Once the insects fall on this surface, they get coated in the oil, which stops their escape. The oil also coats their spiracles, which induces death — no messy glue used.
