WICHITA, KS and LYNBROOK, NY—The industry has lost two longtime pest management professionals in recent weeks: Kent Foley of Wichita, Kan., and Bernard Stegman of Lynbrook, N.Y.
Foley, 53, died Oct. 27. He was president and owner of Arrest-A-Pest in Wichita, and a member of the Kansas Pest Control Association’s Board of Directors. His full obituary is here.
Stegman died Oct. 31. He founded Arrow Exterminating in Lynbrook in 1947, which was recently named Best Pest Control Company by New York magazine. In 1952, Stegman helped found the Long Island Pest Control Association, now part of the New York Pest Management Association. His full obituary is here.
