FAIRFAX, VA—The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has announced that it is in the process of creating a “Veterans in Pest Management” group, which will be committed to promoting the recruitment of vets into the industry, and identifying and supporting programs that support the pest management industry veteran community.
The organizing meeting of the group will be held during Legislative Day at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 16. Was happy to learn about the new program “Military Veterans in Pest Management”. Being a vet and serving as a Pest Controller at a VA Hospital I would appreciate more info on this. For some reason I could not pull up the video, so maybe you could send it to me in an email. Thank you!
Dale, we’re glad to hear of your interest in this. It’s our understanding that the committee will convene during Legislative Day in March, and we’ll be sure to follow up on their findings as they become available. — The Eds.
