New ACEs, BCEs announced

The Entomological Society of America (ESA) Certification Corp. offers two certification programs, the Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) and the Board Certified Entomologist (BCE). This winter, the organization recorded the following:

• 9 people passed their BCE;
• 2 ACEs added a BCE to their credentials;
• 2 people passed the BCE-Intern exam; and
• 23 people passed the ACE exam.

In addition, on Feb. 12, Siu Ming Leung of Christian Environmental Health Ltd., Kowloon, Hong Kong, became the first person to pass the new ACE-International exams. He is now certified as an ACE-I.
