PestWorld 2015Get the Early Bird registration rate for the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA’s) PestWorld 2015, taking place Oct. 20-23 in Nashville.

The Opening Ceremony and Welcoming Reception on Wednesday, Oct. 21, sponsored by Bayer, will feature a cappella group Street Corner Symphony. These runners-up on the 2010 season of NBC’s The Sing-Off will share their music ranging from gospel and barbershop to rock and pop.

Sponsored by Dow AgroSciences, PestWorld’s Opening General Session will feature Jason Dorsey — a.k.a. the “Gen Y Guy” and one of the foremost experts on solving tough generational challenges. In this provocative presentation, Dorsey exposes new generational truths that can have a direct impact on businesses. He’ll share surprising data, firsthand stories, and step-by-step actions for attendees to use to drive communication, engagement, recruiting and more.

This year, the NPMA is anticipating a completely sold-out PestWorld Exhibit Hall — with nearly 170 vendors showcasing the latest products and services. Exhibitors will be on hand to showcase their new products, explain current techniques, and demonstrate solutions to benefit small, mid-sized, and large pest management companies, as well as government employees and university researchers.

On Thursday, Oct. 22, world-renowned adventurer Alison Levine will share the lessons she has learned from various extreme environments — ranging from Mt. Everest to the South Pole — and explain how they apply to business and beyond. Sponsored by Syngenta Professional Products, Levine’s advice is flat-out contrarian: Encourage big egos, go backward — away from your goal, ignore the rules, ditch the plan, deprive yourself of sleep, and reward failure.

On Friday, Oct. 23, PestWorld’s Final Night and Banquet will feature Nashville’s own Chapel Park, sponsored by BASF Pest Control Solutions.
