Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, continues to emphasize the importance of mosquito control during National Mosquito Control Awareness Week, June 21-27.

“We know how crucial public mosquito control is to the health and well-being of communities across the country,” says Gordon Morrison, business manager for the Bayer vector control business in the United States. “We fully support the efforts to educate communities about the risks posed by mosquitoes in our daily lives, and Mosquito Control Awareness Week provides a great opportunity to do that.

“Through our vector control advocacy, we do all we can to raise awareness of the public health threat posed by mosquitoes,” Morrison says, noting that the company’s new  DeltaGard Insecticide for vector control specialists recently received reduced-risk designation for wide area mosquito control from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). “Bayer is committed to working closely with mosquito control professionals to provide superior solutions for protecting public health, quality of life and the outdoor economy.”
