Brandt hired Dr. Mohamed Rachadi to be its pest control operator (PCO) business manager for its Specialty Formulations division. He will be responsible for developing and implementing the PCO go-to-market plan and introducing the company’s new technologies to channel partners, pest management professionals and university researchers.

“Mohamed will be a strong addition to the Brandt Specialty Formulations group,” said Rodger Younker, the company’s national sales director. “He brings a broad scope and deep knowledge of the pest management industry. We’re excited to have him on board.”

Rachadi has more than 25 years of experience in the pest control market. Previously, he held management positions at PROKoZ Inc. and SPECKoZ Inc., Whitmire Research Laboratories and Cline Buckner/Waterbury. He also worked as an independent consultant. Rachadi has a B.S. degree in biological sciences from St. John Fisher College and an M.S. and Ph.D. in entomology from Fordham University.

Brandt manufactures specialty products for the turf and agriculture markets. It was founded in 1953 and now consists of three divisions — Specialty Formulations, Retail Agronomy and Dealer Support — to serve growers.
