Take NPMA’s fumigation survey

By

February 2, 2016

NPMAIn light of recent incidents involving structural fumigants in the Caribbean and Florida, which have resulted in increased scrutiny of the industry, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has established a process to identify issues and discuss ways that members, and the broader industry, can ensure enhanced stewardship of fumigants.

To that end, the NPMA has developed a short questionnaire asking for feedback on an initial set of questions, and possible strategies to address key issues in the structural and commodity fumigation industry.

The fumigation stakeholder questionnaire responses will be held in strict confidence and will only be compiled in aggregate and shared without attribution, and serve as the foundation for discussion by the NPMA Fumigation Committee during NPMA’s Structural Fumigation Stewardship Consensus-Building Process.

The questionnaire should take about 15 minutes to complete. All fumigation industry stakeholders (including registrants, distributors, applicators and regulators) are encouraged to complete the questionnaire online by Feb. 10, 2016 so that their ideas and opinions are taken into consideration during this process.
