McCloud Services is encouraging service specialists at all 11 of its locations to join the fight in finding a cure for breast cancer by wearing pink exam gloves on the job throughout October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For the second consecutive year, McCloud Services also is asking all office team members to wear pink clothing each Friday in October to build awareness, offer support and foster hope for those fighting breast cancer. The company purchased Generation Pink Gloves through Medline Industries, which donates to and supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“Cancer has touched all of us in one way or another,” says Chris McCloud, president and CEO of McCloud Services. “For this reason, we’ve partnered with Medline Industries for the second straight year to not only generate awareness for breast cancer, but all cancers. Through awareness, we hope to inspire others to join in the fight to find a cure for all cancers and help support crucial research.”

McCloud employees are encouraged to participate in local American Cancer Society Making Strides walks. The walks are designed to share passion and raise funds to help save more lives from breast cancer. The company also will match donations made by employees to the American Cancer Society during the month of October.

In 2015, McCloud and employees donated $1,300 to the American Cancer Society.
