Univar Environmental Sciences, a business unit of Univar USA Inc., has unveiled its biggest ProTraining upgrade to date, featuring a redesigned learning platform, added business and safety classes, tablet and mobile compatibility, and an all-new pricing structure. The update will go live on Jan. 5, 2017. The updated online training program now boasts new nontechnical classes covering business management, safety, marketing, and Microsoft Office. Users can also access manufacturer-provided product training for free. Managers now have the option to assign classes to employees and buy classes in bulk. Begun in 1997, ProTraining streamlines the accreditation process by meeting continuing education unit (CEU) guidelines for more than 40 accrediting agencies across the U.S. and Canada. Users completed more than 60,000 courses in 2015 alone.
