GPS Insight’s employees help raise funds for their favorite charities last year.

The GPS vehicle and asset tracking solutions provider for commercial and government fleets said customers and employees suggested the charities that would receive the donations by posting their choices on FacebookLinkedIn, and Twitter.

The company set a goal of $175,000 for the year, however the enthusiastic response helped them surpass it by 15 percent. Every customer or employee that participated had a minimum of $250 and up to $5,656.75 donated to the charity they requested.

“This holiday season, GPS Insight is happy to finish its year-long tradition of giving back with another record year of charitable contributions, totaling over $200,000,” said Rob Donat, GPS Insight founder and CEO. “We appreciate our customers’ and employees’ personal causes, and each year do what we can with a portion of our profits in order to help them succeed in their worthwhile goals.”

Charities included Children’s Cancer Network, Donate Life America, Habitat for Humanity, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Honor Flight Network, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.

GPS Insight provides solutions that help business and government agencies solve their unique fleet-related challenges. The company is based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
