With its proprietary HyperSpike technology and made in the USA, the new HS-10 is the next generation of the HS-Micro. The self-contained, portable acoustic hailing device is designed for deterring birds and wildlife from large open areas such as airports, landfills and critical areas like electrical substations. It’s available in two models: Weighing 15 lbs., the HS-10R packs a peak acoustic output of 144dB for a communication range of more than 750 meters. Easily accessible, the built-in high frequency alert tone is readily activated with the push of a button. The HS-10 easily penetrates high background-noise environments to ensure that unmistakable commands and piercing alert tones are heard. This focused beam is used to transmit critical communications, security commands, selected wildlife distress calls, predator calls or alert tones that can be clearly understood out to 0.25 mile.
