Adele was pestered by mosquitoes during one of her weekend performance in Brisbane, Australia — and a fan caught the comical interaction on video.

While the 28-year-old singer addresses the crowd, the mosquitoes start to swarm. In the video, Adele is seen swatting the mosquitoes and running across the stage, saying “I’m sorry, I’m not Australian, I don’t like bugs!”

“It was sucking my blood; it was sucking my blood!” she continues.

The mosquitoes don’t give up, and she spots one on the stage floor.

“It’s a mosquito what should I do?” she asks the crowd. “Oh, his friend is coming to help him out … they’re everywhere, they’re all trying to kill me!”

The video originally was posted to Instagram by Kadin McMahon-Hall.
