Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators disclosed the merger and acquisition of Exterm-A-Tech Inc. of St. Petersburg, Fla. The transaction strengthens Arrow’s presence in Pinellas County and the expansive Tampa Bay area.

“We are so pleased to welcome the customers and team members of Exterm-A-Tech to the Arrow family,” says Emily Thomas Kendrick, president and CEO of Arrow Exterminators. “Exterm-A-Tech’s commitment to their customers and passion for customer service as well as their full service offerings is not only a perfect fit, but a strategic one as well. This new location will operate as Hughes Exterminators, and gives us a total of 20 service centers throughout the state of Florida.”

“We have always said that a business that values family, values customers. We are proud to join a fellow family-owned and -operated company and be a part of the Arrow family,” says Exterm-A-Tech President Steve Shelton, whose family has owned the business for 62 years. ”We wanted to give our employees an opportunity to be with a company where we knew there would be growth opportunities as well as an expanded range of services to offer our customers. All of my employees will continue their careers with Arrow Exterminators.”
