Approximately 200 pest management professionals attended the second bi-annual Thermal Remediation Bed Bug Conference that was held earlier this month in Charlotte, N.C. The educational event was designed for both current and future heat treatment equipment operators to attend to learn about the latest in bed bug remediation efforts.
The conference had a variety of networking opportunities built-in, including plenty of time to speak with exhibitors and several end-of-day receptions to share heat treatment best practices.
Presentation topics included bed bug infestation prevention, fire suppression system techniques, overcoming heat treatment challenges, bed bugs in multi-housing and more. Conference attendees walked away from the conference with new knowledge highly applicable to their organization to add to the success of their company’s heat treatment efforts.

Hi I am John from Xpert Pest Control INDIA can you tell me how to treat bed bugs through heat treatment
Hi John,
There are a number of heat treatment system manufacturers whose websites give great insight as to proper treatment and its benefits. Simply type “heat” in our Search bar on MyPMP.net, and you’ll have several options.
In 2013, Dr. Cisse Spragins provided a good overview for our Bed Bugs Tips & Tricks section. You can read her insights at https://www.mypmp.net/2013/07/10/heat-is-the-bed-bugs-achilles-heel/.
