MARCH ISSUE CAPTION THIS RESULTS
The luck of the Irish was with Patrick Callahan, senior territory manager of Pesis, Alpharetta, Ga. He receives a $50 VISA card because of his winning entry, sung to the tune “When Irish Eyes are Smiling”: My compound eyes are smiling / My beers and the fly lights are green / There’s a lilt of pests all laughing / As the humans drop more food on the floor.”
The runner-up entry comes from Bob Heiney, the Jackson, Ga.-based Midwest regional technical manager for B&G Equipment Co./Curtis Dynafog. It’s a take on the Gaelic phrase “Erin go Bragh,” which roughly translates to “Ireland forever”: Erin go Splat!
