After four years in business, Ecoskan Enterprises, a pest control and auditing company based in San Bernardino, Calif., is opening a new location in Nevada to expand just its auditing and consulting services. Ecoskan Commercial Pest Management Assessments is on track to open in May.
“We will concentrate our efforts in Las Vegas, with the hospitality and gaming industries,” notes Sam Tutton, who co-owns the company with his wife, Heather. “Our customized and comprehensive surveys focus on all areas in a facility that may cause pest issues.”
Tutton explains that the new location’s goal is to actually support other pest management companies in the Las Vegas market: “Since we will not be applying pesticides or performing traditional pest services in the market, we will be building a network of well-respected companies that we can confidently recommend,” he says.
“We’ve found that having an independent company perform a pest assessment can be extremely beneficial for the facility, and for the existing pest control company,” Tutton adds. “Ecoskan works directly with your team and vendors to develop a more comprehensive and satisfactory pest management program. The inspection process will include aspects of facilities maintenance that contribute to a pest-free environment. “
