The acquisition of Citrus Pest Management, Crystal River, Fla., officially gives Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators 100 service centers. This transaction represents Arrow’s first service center in the Nature Coast area. It will operate as Hughes Exterminators, giving Arrow a total of 21 service centers in the Sunshine State.

“We are very pleased to welcome the customers and team members of Citrus Pest Management to the Arrow family,” says Emily Thomas Kendrick, president and CEO of Arrow Exterminators. “Citrus Pest truly cares about their team members and is passionate about customer service and that makes them the perfect fit for us.

Arrow Chairman of the Board Joe Thomas notes that “Crystal River holds a special place in my heart and in the hearts of many of our long-tenured team members. During the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the early 2000’s, we made annual trips to Crystal River to fish and informally recognize and reward the guys on the front lines who were servicing our customers. I have nothing but great memories of our visits to Crystal River, and it is so fitting that it is the location of our 100th office.”

“When we decided to make a change and move on to the next phase of our lives, we only considered companies with similar family values that are passionate about how customers and employees are treated.  We found that in Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators,” says owner Tony Winebrenner. “We have always said that a business that values family, values customers. We are proud to join a fellow family-owned and operated company and be a part of the Arrow family.”
