Bayer: Temprid FX

By |  June 1, 2017

Temprid FXTemprid FX is a new co-milled, dual-active combination product, featuring an expanded label for Temprid. Temprid controls more than 50 pests, including spiders and scorpions. It combines the broad-spectrum control of beta-cyfluthrin with the residual control of imidacloprid. Temprid FX adds flexibility for outdoor perimeter pest applications, including non-blooming plants. The label allows use patterns for foliar applications, including treatment of established landscape ornamentals that are not in bloom without risk of phytotoxicity; ant management, including applications to shrubs and ornamentals that are not blooming and where ants may find food or forage; occasional invaders, including treatments on infested trees and shrubs early in the season; and stinging insect nests and mounds. As part of this updated label change, Temprid FX has a new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) number. Temprid SC-EPA Reg. No. 432-1483 will transition to Temprid FX-EPA Reg. No. 432-1544.
