Rockwell Labs recently redesigned its InTice Gelanimo Ant Bait station to improve its performance and versatility. The new station design is even easier to use, increases the longevity of the rigid hydrogel bait, improves the versatility for placement purposes, and further minimizes any potential for non-target contact with the bait, the company says. The patent-pending, high-moisture, non-spill, rigid hydrogel formula in the station is unchanged. As the only moist bait station on the market with no potential for spill, the company says, pest professionals gain all the advantages of liquid bait with none of the mess. Ants can feed over the whole surface without drowning in the bait, and more ants can feed at one time. The new bait station design features an easy-to-remove sticker that covers the access hole for the ants, allowing for quick, tool-less placement in the field. At just under 0.5-in. high and 1.625-in. wide, the station can easily be placed under appliances and out of the way, or on narrow ledges such as window sills. The new design uses a foil top, stronger seal and high-tech plastic construction to minimize moisture loss in storage and in the field. The stations are available in a 30-pack box; each station contains 0.25 oz. of bait.
