McCloud Services’ Pest Invasion event gets new date

McCloud Services, South Elgin, Ill., will hold its 2018 Pest Invasion integrated pest management (IPM) and food safety seminar on Jan. 23 at The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald’s Campus in Oakbrook, Ill., a new date and location for the annual event.

McCloud ServicesThe day-long seminar, previously held in April, focuses on pest-related topics and other contamination concerns for the food supply chain of custody. Presentations will examine the importance of public health and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, pest exclusion and sanitation, food borne illness, and security.

McCloud Services said more than 300 professionals from the food, pest management and environmental health industries attend the event each year.

For the 2018 event, James Miller of Trece and Anna Berry of McCloud Services will present “Using Pheromones to Monitor and Control Stored Product Pests” and John Spink, PhD, Food Fraud Initiative, Michigan State University will present “Food Fraud.” Additional speakers and presentation topics will be announced soon, according to McCloud Services.
