WorkWave earned PCI certification, meaning its solutions comply with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) requirements for processing credit cards.
The company, which offers the PestPac pest management software solution, implemented and performed policies, procedures, and technical systems in compliance with PCI DSS requirements for credit card processing through security and compliance company Trustwave Holdings Inc.
“While our solutions have been PCI compliant for years, we wanted to take it to the next level for our clients,” said Chris Sullens, president and CEO, WorkWave. “We invested heavily to enhance our organizational processes, policies and procedures to further strengthen our security posture.”
Compliance is designed to ensure credit card holder information is safely handled. It enables business owners to develop a process in how it deals with the prevention, detection and handling of credit card security incidents.
“This effort provides a unique advantage for our clients, and complements other recent certifications we have achieved for privacy and data security, such as the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield,” Sullens said.
