Rentokil Steritech merged with Connor’s Termite and Pest Control. The Springfield, Va.-based company serves customers in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Connor’s was founded in 1974 and offers residential and commercial pest management services. The company’s current management team includes Robin Mountjoy and Eddie Connor Jr., children of company founder Ed Connor Sr. They will continue to lead the company’s operations to help integrate and grow the business.
“We are proud to be joining the Rentokil Steritech family,” said Eddie Connor Jr. “Our company had a choice between multiple buyers, but our leadership team’s unanimous view was that Connor’s strengths and business culture were best aligned with Rentokil Steritech, and the local Ehrlich team.”
The merger adds nearly 100 full-time employees, including 53 technician specialists, to the Rentokil Steritech team. It will expand Rentokil Steritech’s presence in the Northern Virginia market.
“The merger with Connor’s is an important step for Rentokil Steritech as it further expands our reach within the high-growth and prosperous metro D.C. market and it greatly strengthens our service capabilities” said Rentokil Steritech President and CEO John Myers.
Lance Tullius, LR Tullius Inc., served as Connor’s financial advisor.
