Massey Services has partnered with the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association (CFHLA) over the last five years for its Cares Collection for Homeless Students. They’ve helped collect more than 289,000 personal hygiene and food items for the program.

Massey Services team members volunteered their time and vehicles to assist with the collection of supplies for homeless students throughout Central Florida. In the first year of the program, they gathered 81 percent of the total number of items donated. In 2016, the volunteers brought in more than 66,000 items of the overall CFHLA collection of 90,000 items.

“These team members have been heavily involved in partnering with CFHLA on a number of great charitable causes,” says Tony Massey, president of Massey Services. “They saw a need to give back and immediately jumped in to help and recruited other Massey team members to join in as well. At Massey, we believe in giving back to our communities and I am very proud of all the work they have done.”

Massey Services collects the items once a year covering the Central Florida counties of Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Lake.
