Viking acquires Merlin’s Pest Control

Viking Pest ControlBridgewater, N.J.-based Viking Termite & Pest Control has acquired Merlin’s Pest Control, Denville, N.J. The acquisition strengthen the market share of Viking, an Anticimex company, throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Dave Castro, founder of Merlin’s Pest Control, will be retiring. He says he is pleased that his employees, including his son, will remain with Viking.

“With the constant changes in our industry, Viking continues to grow our customer base both organically and by way of merger and acquisition,” says Ryan Bradbury, president of Viking. “We have been able to come up with merger solutions that have been lucrative to companies looking to sell. The transition of new customers and employees has been very smooth. Viking will continue to make more acquisitions in the near future.”
