Environmental Pest Service (EPS) has acquired Allied Professional Services. Terms were not disclosed. The deal expands EPS’ presence in east and central North Carolina and adds more than $6 million in annual revenues.

“We’re thrilled to add additional well-established pest control companies in this market,” says Michael Rolman, vice president of operations for EPS. “This will allow us to grow quickly in the North Carolina market and build density in the markets that we already serve through the State Pest Control brand.”

Allied operates four brands: Wood Termite & Pest Control and Melvin SWAT Termite & Pest Control in Smithfield; Smith Exterminating Co. in Raleigh; and Action Termite & Pest Control in Wilmington. It will continue to operate out of its existing branch locations.

More than 60 employees will remain with the company, including sales professionals, technicians, supervisors and leadership. In addition, they will add four new sales professionals in early 2018 to help grow the brands. Owner Mack Langdon will step down, while his children Josh Langdon and Tiffany Holland will remain. Following the merger, Josh Langdon will assume the role of director of operations for Allied’s three branch locations.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the EPS team and grow our brands based on their proven best practices,” says Josh Langdon. “Their focus is very much in line with ours and I’m confident that our customers will experience the same great service that they’ve come to expect from their local team.”

Allied, which currently provides pest and termite service, will bring approximately 19,000 new customers to EPS.

Tampa, Fla.-based Environmental Pest Service currently operates four brands: Arrow Environmental Services in west and central Florida, Bug Out Service in north Florida, Skyline Pest Solutions in metro Atlanta, and State Pest Control in central North Carolina. Since 2010, EPS has acquired more than 80 companies.
