GPS Insight also took second place for its video submission.

GPS Insight, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based provider of tailored GPS tracking and E-Log solutions for commercial and government fleets, was recognized at the Phoenix Business Journal’s Best Places to Work Awards as the No. 6 best place to work in the mid-size business category (100-500 employees). This is the fourth consecutive year that GPS Insight has been recognized for the award.

“Getting recognized for the fourth consecutive year, despite our rapid growth, is a testament to the people we’ve hired to be part of the GPS Insight family and the culture we’ve developed,” says CEO Robert Donat. “We appreciate the feedback from our employees and plan to make improvements to continue being among the best places to work.”

The Best Places to Work awards are ranked based on the results of the surveys completed by each nominated company’s employees. These surveys are administered and compiled by Quantum Workplace, to ensure data integrity.

Best Places to Work creates a score on a scale of 0-100 based on GPS Insight employees’ overall responses to the survey. GPS Insight received a score of 92.33, ranking higher than the average scores for other finalists in the mid-size category. Employees most commonly describe GPS Insight as “fun” and “challenging.” A few of the categories that employees gave favorable reviews for were Trust in Leadership, Individual Needs, Personal Engagement.

Along with participating in awards, all recognized companies were encouraged to submit a short video showcasing why they’re a great company to work for as part of its Best Places to Work video challenge. The GPS Insight video received second place, and can be watched online at GPSInsight.com/video-library/about-gps-insight-videos/best-places-work-phoenix-arizona.
