The Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Experience House at Texas A&M University-Dallas is a unique training facility offering hands-on learning experiences for Texas pest management professionals (PMPs) conducting structural pest control. The experience now features TAP Pest Control Insulation.
“The facility itself and the program offerings made available to our industry through the IPM Experience House are a natural draw for us,” notes Matt Paul, marketing manager for TAP’s Lula, Ga.-based manufacturer, Pest Control Insulation (PCI).
Staffing and curriculum development for the house is being overseen by IPM specialists based at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas.
Since 2001, PCI has provided turnkey equipment packages for PMPs and wildlife professionals alike, as well as training and support. Dedicated to providing new revenue opportunities through innovative, environmentally responsible and highly valued pest control systems, PCI supports companies nationwide. PCI’s flagship product, TAP Pest Control Insulation, is a cellulose insulation that is registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and bears the Energy Star and UL Classified marks manufactured specifically for the pest and wildlife management industry.
