Family-owned Eco Serve Pest Services, based in Orchard Park, N.Y., is “thinking pink” for the entire month of October for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the third year in a row, the entire Eco Serve team is out in the community serving their customers in pink shirts, gloves and boot covers. The company is also selling $1 pink wristbands to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Network of Western New York.

“Our entire team really rallies around this cause every year. We all have women in our lives who mean the world to us, and if our efforts to spread awareness help just one woman remember to go get screened or remind their loved one to go, this will all be worthwhile,” says President Audrey Hall. She points out that this form of cancer also affects men, too — about one in 1,000, according to the American Cancer Society.
