I’m not much for participatory journalism — nor should I be, in this industry, as I’m not licensed to work in any state! But after a five-hour drive Sunday afternoon from Northeast Ohio to the hallowed halls of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., I couldn’t resist capping the evening by attending an event that featured a couple hours of pizza, bowling and fellowship. The Pi Chi Omega Bowling Stones event took place Sunday evening on campus at the Union Rack And Roll, and was a wonderful time to catch up with fellow members of this longstanding industry fraternity, which was founded at Purdue University in 1950.
