Massey Services promotes division manager

Massey Services promoted Tami Swanson from senior director to division manager of the company’s multi-family business, reporting directly to the COO.

Swanson has been with Massey Services for more than a decade. Before joining the company, she spent 11 years with AT&T in sales and advertising. She joined Archer in 2001 and, through Massey’s acquisition of Middleton, joined the company in 2009.

“Throughout her career with our company, Tami has been a driving force in building and expanding our multi-family division,” says Tony Massey, president of Massey Services. “This promotion and realignment of Multi-Family will ensure a strong operational focus and the opportunity to further grow this division of our business. Tami’s passion and commitment to her team members, the community and the multi-family industry are undoubtedly driving factors for her success.”

An Orlando native, Swanson is a National Apartment Association (NAA) Leadership Lyceum graduate and serves on NAA’s National Service Council. Additionally, she’s on the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando 2020 board of directors, Legislative Committee and Friends of the Foundation Committee. Moreover, she serves on the Regional Advisory Council for Apartment Life, is on Florida Apartment Association Tradeshow Committee, Florida Apartment Association Committee, National Apartment Association National Service Council and Friends of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Swanson also participates in a variety of charities, including Good Neighbor Day, Steven Siller Tunnel to Towers, United Way, Dave’s House, Junior Achievement, Harbor House, Toys for Tots and New Missions.

Harvey Massey, a 55-year veteran of the pest management and landscape services industries and a Pest Management Professional Hall of Famer (Class of 2008), founded Massey Services in 1985. Massey Services and its subsidiary organizations employ more than 2,100 team members and operate 1,900 vehicles that provide residential and commercial pest prevention, termite protection, landscape and irrigation services.
