Smith’s Gopher Trapping Service & Pest Management has promoted Victor Fuentes to service manager.
Founded by Zachary Smith in 2009, Smith’s serves clients throughout the areas of San Francisco and Monterey Bay, Calif. The company offers vertebrate pest control, as well as general structural pest, bedbug and termite treatments.
Smith, also the company president, noted in a news release that he was pleased with the promotion of Fuentes.
Before his promotion to the newly created position, Fuentes was a field-level pest control technician for Smith’s, handling the regular duties of trapping wildlife and treating for rodents.
“Victor was the obvious choice to fill this new role,” said CEO David Poplin. “He has shown to be a dedicated and conscientious employee who I feel will excel in this position.”
Smith’s customers and internal staff have noted the improved experience brought by Fuentes, according to a news release. Both residential and commercial customers will receive better service and more quality assurance follow-ups. With this new management role, technicians are receiving more support and training in the field, and the office staff are better supported in the generation of site audits and proposals.
“I am very glad to see Victor step up into this new role, he is well suited for the job,” said Forrest Baldwin, operations manager.
Congratulations Victor!
