As noted by the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA), the week of June 21 is declared National Mosquito Control Awareness Week. The AMCA strives to educate the public about “the significance of mosquitoes in their daily lives, and the important service provided by mosquito control workers throughout the United States and worldwide.”

With that in mind, Target Specialty Products, a leading value-added service provider of pest, turf and ornamental solutions in the United States and Canada, is placing additional emphasis on the threat of mosquitoes during Mosquito Control Awareness Week:

• Target Specialty Products wrote a blog post, offering ways in which pest management professionals (PMPs) may raise the awareness of the threat of mosquitoes.

• Target Specialty Products also plans a series of mosquito control-related social media posts for Mosquito Week which PMPs are encouraged to share with their online audiences. Click on the following links to follow Target on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Last but certainly not least, Target Specialty Products offers a full line of mosquito control products and solutions.

Founded more than 80 years ago, Target Specialty Products currently serves the Pest Management and Turf & Ornamental markets from 44 locations across the United States and Canada. The company is a Founders Circle Member of the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. Pledging to support the Urban Entomology program at the University helps ensure that they can continue valuable research in the field of pest management.
