On Aug. 5, 2020, at 1 p.m. Eastern, PestWest is presenting a webinar titled “A New Perspective on Filth Fly Control.” Co-hosted by PestWest’s technical director, Dr. Stuart Mitchell, and its Western and Southwest technical specialist, Mike Goza, the free webinar is limited to 90 attendees.

“Flies are flying infections, contaminating every surface landed upon. Understanding the ecology of filth flies is the first step in solving pesky problems. By understanding UVA systems and intuitive placement, you are optimizing your understanding of filth fly monitoring and control,” the registration web page states.

The webinar will take place in two parts:

  • Part 1: FlyQ: Pesky Flies 8.0
  • Part 2: FlyQ: UVA Systems: Features for Your Benefit

Based in southern California, Goza has been in the pest control industry since 1993, working both as a technician and within the product distribution and manufacturing sectors. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business management, and has developed and run several technical pest management training programs.

Based in Iowa, “Doc” Mitchell has 35 years of experience serving the pest management, public health and environmental health industries.
