AP&G has added Ivelisse Maldonado as a graphic designer to support its growing Catchmaster product line.

Maldonado reports to Chris Ernst, director of Brand Strategy. Prior to joining the Bayonne, N.J.-based manufacturer, Maldonado served as an art director and graphic designer for the past eight years. Her experience spans from advertising agencies to in-house design teams known for beauty and luxury lines. Maldonado studied fine arts with a minor in advertising. She also attended the Portfolio School at Miami AD for its Art Director Portfolio program.

“I’m excited to join the AP&G family, and look forward to being a valued addition to the marketing team,” Maldonado said in a news release. “With my experience, creativity and skills, I am confident that, through hard work and collaboration, together we will further enhance the Catchmaster brand.”

Ernst agreed, noting in the news release that “Ivelisse is a talented designer, and we look forward to her contribution. Her consumer products design experience will be a great benefit to the team in developing concepts that resonate with our target audience.”

ABOUT THE COMPANY

AP&G, a manufacturer of products for rodent, insect and mosquito management, was founded in 1952 as Atlantic Paste & Glue in Brooklyn, N.Y., by Moses Frisch, an immigrant chemist from Hungary. Steve Frisch, current president and CEO, joined his father in 1972, after graduation from Brooklyn College. The third generation of the family working at the business today includes Jonathan Frisch, VP of sales and marketing, and Jeffrey Frisch, VP of operations.

In 1977, AP&G introduced the Catchmaster brand, which led to its focus on developing adhesives for pest management applications. Its products continue to be American-made, and the company currently supplies more than 70 countries worldwide.
