The Triad Business Journal (TBJ) is honoring Greensboro, N.C.-based Go-Forth Pest Control in two ways:

First, the family-owned firm made the list of the Piedmont Triad’s Best Places to Work by TBJ, for the third year in a row in the small (25-49) category.

To determine the Best Places to Work, TBJ solicited nominations. Qualifying companies were then surveyed by Omaha, Neb.-based research firm Quantum Workplace. The survey required a minimum level of employee participation, and evaluated criteria such as compensation, benefits, feeling valued and trust in senior leaders.

TBJ also ranked Go-Forth Pest Control as the 47th-fastest growing private company in the NC Triad. Now in its seventh decade, the company has made the “Fast 50” list four years in a row.

To meet the list’s criteria, companies must be private, for-profit companies with their U.S. headquarters based in the Triad. They must also have completed three full fiscal years, with at least $2 million in revenue in 2019. TBJ’s accounting partner, Smith Leonard, verified and ranked the nominated companies using a formula that considers both dollar and percentage growth.

“This past week, we enjoyed hosting a socially-distanced viewing party with our team for the Fast 50 Event virtual event, and together proudly celebrate and recognize our team’s commitment to grit and growth, which are two of our core values,” Chase Hazelwood, owner of Go-Forth Pest Control, said in a news release.
