Syngenta is passionate about providing pest management professionals (PMPs) with proven pest control tools and helping their businesses by making it easy to plan, buy and save money on product purchases year-round. Tethering innovative solutions to assurances and a well-rounded savings program is where PMPs have developed valuable partnerships with Syngenta.

“PMPs choose to partner with Syngenta because of our people,” says Marshall Gaster, head of marketing for Professional Pest Management (PPM) at Syngenta. “We have a highly engaged team of sales and technical experts who provide continual support for our customers. When you add that to our proven solutions — a broad portfolio of products, science-backed assurances and the PestPartners 365 program, which is the first loyalty program of its kind in the industry — it’s easy to see why PMPs choose Syngenta.”

Innovative Solutions

What follow are three recent pest control innovations to the Advion insecticide brand family:

  • Advion Insect Granular Bait (launched in 2020) — Ideal for perimeter treatments, this solution features an advanced bait matrix designed for maximum consumption, resulting in greater targeted control of pests like ants, cockroaches, crickets and silverfish.
  • Advion WDG Insecticide (launched in 2019) — This sprayable, water-dispersible granule formulation controls a broad range of target pests, and can be used in residential and commercial accounts areas for added convenience and flexibility.
  • Advion Evolution Cockroach Gel Bait (launched in 2017) — Featuring the proven performance of indoxacarb in an enhanced bait matrix, this bait is highly attractive to cockroaches, resulting in increased feeding and faster kill for even the toughest-to-control populations.
“Stay tuned: Soon, Syngenta will unveil new product solutions — all of which will be part of our PestPartners 365 program,” Gaster adds.

Control Assurance

Syngenta launched its SecureChoice Mosquito Assurance Program in 2015, guaranteeing that if proper applications of its Demand CS insecticide (capsule suspension) and Archer insect growth regulator (IGR) fail to provide adequate reduction of mosquito populations, the company will provide the appropriate quantity of Syngenta product(s) required to cover retreatment(s).

Over the past six years, Syngenta has added six more SecureChoice assurance programs, covering: cockroaches (rotation of Advion Evolution and Optigard Cockroach gel baits, and Advion WDG and Optigard Flex liquid insecticide); fire ants (Advion fire ant bait); fleas (Demand CS and Archer); scorpions (Demand CS and Advion Insect granular bait); spiders (Demon WP insecticide, Demand CS and Tandem insecticide); and ticks (Demand CS).Gaster and Kristen Oakley, communications manager for PPM at Syngenta, emphasize that SecureChoice assurance programs are far more than product performance guarantees. The programs also include:

  • Detailed control and exclusion protocols, comprehensively tested by university and industry technical experts.
  • Educational resources, including online learning modules, training videos and collateral, including an “application academy” featuring hands-on training.
  • Technical troubleshooting support.

“Our experienced, knowledgeable technical services managers — Drs. Nicky Gallagher, Chris Keefer and Eric Paysen — and Dr. Mark Coffelt, our head of technical services, help design all our SecureChoice assurances. They can be resources to PMPs for training and troubleshooting,” says Gaster.

“We also share information with PMPs via a SyngentaPMP account, which offers access to enewsletters, Syngenta label and safety data sheet updates, and more,” Oakley adds. “We also have a Syngenta Pest App for iOS and Android devices, featuring a mixing calculator and other helpful resources, with information on related Syngenta solutions and control best practices.”

Loyalty Rewards

The PestPartners 365 customer loyalty program has been a huge hit with PMPs since launching in 2015.

Qualifying for PestPartners 365 is simple: From Oct. 1, 2021, through April 30, 2022, PMPs can purchase any combination of Syngenta products that generate at least $200 in base rebates. Rebate redemption is even simpler: No forms are required to become a member. PMPs automatically will receive rebates on all qualifying Syngenta product purchases made Oct. 1, 2021, through Sept. 30, 2022.

“PestPartners 365 makes it easy for companies of all sizes to save money year-round,” Gaster says. “With the PestPartners 365 SummerPay terms, PMPs have the ability to earn rebates months before having to pay for products. This flexibility enables PMPs to plan and prepare for peak season without the worry of paying for products up front.”

“Many PMPs save thousands of dollars every year, thanks to PestPartners 365,” Oakley agrees. “Not only are they able to share some of their savings with employees and customers, but PMPs also have access to a team of technical experts, and are equipped with the products they need to take advantage of other Syngenta programs like the SecureChoice assurance programs for guaranteed results.”
