The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) announced the creation of the inaugural NPMA Impact Awards for Women in Pest Management.

The Impact Awards will honor and celebrate exceptional women at all levels within the pest management industry in any role, including management, technical and service roles, sales or office staff.

Recipients will be honored at NPMA’s Women’s Leadership Forum, May 3-5, in Nashville, Tenn.

“The pest control industry is stronger than ever, thanks in part, to the incredible contributions made by women at all levels, and the Impact Awards are just one way we hope to recognize those women who are making a difference in their companies, communities, and the industry as a whole,” NPMA CEO Dominique Stumpf, CAE, CMP, said.

Women working in any function at a pest control company are eligible for consideration. Nominations are open to individuals from both NPMA member companies as well as non-members.

NPMA encourages nominations from anyone who has a professional relationship with a potential nominee, as well as nominations of individuals who have received state, local or other industry-specific recognition.

Nominations are now open and will be accepted through Friday, April 8. Recipients will be notified on or before April 18.
