The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) announced three keynote speakers that will start each day at the Women’s Forum on May 3-5 in Nashville, Tenn.

The Women’s Forum is an opportunity for men and women from across the pest management industry to learn about creating an inclusive environment and recognizing the contributions of all stakeholders.

The first keynote speaker is Brigid Schulte, director of the Better Life Lab & The Good Life Initiative at New America. She will present her session “Overwhelmed: How to Work, Love, Play When No One Has the Time.” Drawing on her research for her best-selling book and her role at The Better Life Lab at New America, Schulte uses stories and data to show how transforming an outdated work culture — focusing on mission, performance, flexibility and healthy, happy workers — not only leads to better work, but allows time for a better life.

The second speaker, for May 4, will be Kristen Hadeed, founder of Student Maid and igniter at Start With Why will lead her session “Human Leadership: Be You!” In this session, she shares the story of how she embraced her imperfections and created an environment where anyone, no matter their gender, role or background, can become the best version of themselves.

The last keynote speaker, on May 5, will be Shasta Nelson, a friendship expert, with her session on “The Resilient Workplace: How to Create a Supportive Culture.” Nelson, author of The Business of Friendship: Making the Most of the Relationships Where We Spend Most of Our Time, combines science, story and real-life application to inspire more meaningful connections at work, creating an organizational culture that thrives.

Registration for the Women’s Forum is now open.
