Truly Nolen promotes area manager for Tampa Bay

Truly Nolen Pest Control announced the promotion of Ed Tonnesen to area manager for Tampa Bay, Fla.

He will remain based at the company’s Tampa, Fla., commercial service office. Tonnesen joined Truly Nolen Pest Control in 2013 in commercial sales and has been manager of the Tampa commercial service office since 2015.

Prior to joining the company, he spent eight years as a branch manager within the pest control industry, and six years prior to that with FedEx Express as an operations manager. Tonnesen has a bachelor of science degree in management from the International College of Naples.

Some of Tonnesen’s new responsibilities will include district authority overseeing the company’s residential services office in Brandon, Largo and Tampa, Fla.

“My new role will allow me to excel in what I do best, supporting and training my staff so they and their employees can grow both personally and professionally,” Tonnesen said in a news release. “I love working with a company that allows me to grow professionally, allows for independent thinking and ‘truly’ makes you feel like part of the family!”
