Although he went almost $1 million into debt when he bought the business, Massey quickly recovered, and today the company employs more than 2,500 team members and operate 2,300 vehicles that provide residential and commercial pest prevention, termite protection, landscape and irrigation services to more than 750,000 customers from more than 170 service centers throughout Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia and Tennessee. As Harvey Massey noted in his Hall of Fame profile: “It’s a people business. It always has been and always will be. I really love that aspect of it.”
