Glen Ramsey, BCE, senior technical service manager with Rollins Inc., was recently elected president of the Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA).

Ramsey is a 20-year veteran of the pest control industry. During the course of his upcoming one-year term, he will be responsible for guiding and directing the GPCA’s strategic initiative and working closely with its executive director, according to a news release.

Ramsey was elected to the position by a vote of the GPCA board of directors and its 550 member companies. In his role as technical services manager with Rollins Inc., he supports all of the company’s brands, including Orkin.

“It is an extreme honor to be elected president of the Georgia Pest Control Association,” Ramsey said. “Incorporated in 1950, GPCA has been the driving force behind the development of the Structural Pest Control Commission, the University of Georgia Entomology Research Division and the Technician Registration program. Because we have been deeply rooted in the industry so long, we have developed a reputation that is built on credibility, respect and positive influence. The dedication of GPCA to the advancement of professional pest management is known throughout the country. I am looking forward to the next year serving the members of this great association.”
