“Cockroaches” is a one-hour training webinar that will review the identification of common cockroaches, biology and habits, control strategies and integrated pest management.

The webinar will be presented by Dr. Edwin Afful, product development manager, insecticides, at FMC Corp.

To register, attendees can join FMC’s True Champions program and in return, they receive exclusive business-building solutions and rewards on FMC products, as well as become part of the company’s industry commitment to support the pest control industry.

The FMC First Friday webinar program provides monthly pest control-related webinars with CEU credits typically offered in 20 to 30 states. The monthly webinars are always free for True Champions members.

“Edwin provides tremendous insight to pest control professionals as FMC’s insecticides’ product development manager, offering strong IPM and control strategies,” says Mike Sisti, North America marketing manager at FMC Professional Solutions. “His presentations are always popular; therefore, we are doing it again this year based on requests from industry professionals.”

Dr. Afful is originally from Ghana and migrated to the U.S. nine years ago to pursue his doctorate of philosophy in entomology at Kansas State University. Prior to joining FMC, he was the executive director of a Contract Research Lab (i2lResearch Inc.) in Baltimore, Md.  Along with writing several peer-reviewed publications and articles, Dr. Afful has extensive teaching experience; he received first place in the Graduate Student Oral Competition at the International Congress of Entomology in Orlando, Fla.
