Pi Chi Omega hosts 50/50 raffle at PestWorld

The winner of the 50/50 raffle during the Pi Chi Omega “Raise the Bar” event on Thursday during PestWorld was newly installed member Dr. Jessica Lindenmayer, with Trécé.

The total for the raffle was $3,220, and Dr. Lindenmayer received half of it ($1,610).

“I have never held this much cash in my hands before!” Dr. Lindenmayer said when she received her winnings.

“The funds will support Pi Chi Omega’s overall mission of ‘connecting and enriching the structural pest management industry.’”

“Pi Chi Omega is grateful to everyone for purchasing a raffle ticket,” Pi Chi Omega said in a statement to Pest Management Professional (PMP) magazine.

The reception, which took place at Yard House also served as a “milestone birthday celebration” for longtime member Dale Baker, VP of J.T. Eaton.

Other winners of Pi Chi Omega’s events at PestWorld 2022 for the Baseball Trading Card Game include:

• The grand prize winner of the Baseball Trading game was Caroline Kohnert, of Plunkett’s Pest, who won a DynoLight Digital Microscope.
• Three Smart Phone Camera Macro lenses were won by Nicholas McRoy, ACE, Metro Institute; Jon Furdek, ACE, Accel Pest & Termite Control; and Zach Dylla, FieldRoutes.
• A Pi Chi Omega Baseball cap from our Redbubble store went to Ben Grady, University of Kentucky, and RedBubble e-Gift cards went to DL Reynolds, Terminix; Richard Spigler II, BCE, AMGUARD; Sharon Dobesh, Industrial Fumigant Co.; Marie Horner, ACE, Arrow Exterminators; John Moruzzi, ACE, Yankee Pest; and Neil Rajagopal, University of Florida, where they can purchase custom Pi Chi Omega merchandise.
