Pest Daily launched the Powership Scholarship, which is open owners and operators of pest control companies with annual revenue of $300,000 or less.
The scholarship will cover the cost of attending the inaugural Power by Pest Daily conference that will be held Jan. 19-20, 2023. The event is designed to provide education and networking opportunities for pest control owners and operators who are looking to take their business to the next level.
The Powership Scholarship also includes a two-night stay at the conference hotel, a five-year subscription to e-learning platform Pest Daily and free access to Pest Daily live training opportunities, which are held several times per year. In total, the scholarship is valued at more than $15,000.
To be considered for the Powership Scholarship, applicants must own or operate a pest control company with an annual revenue of $300,000 or less. Applicants must show a commitment to their business, a love for learning and a passion for professional development.
Starting Nov. 14, interested applicants are invited to submit a short video to Pest Daily’s Growth Group (on Facebook) explaining why they should be selected to receive the scholarship, what they hope to gain from attending the conference and how they plan to apply what they learn to their business in the future. If you’re not already a member of Growth Group, you can request permission to join by clicking here.
The scholarship recipient will be chosen via vote from Growth Group members and will be notified the first week of December.
“We wanted to offer this scholarship because many of the companies out there that are looking to expand simply don’t have the resources to be surrounded by top-tier talent,” Seth Garber, Pest Daily founder, said in a news release. “At the Power conference, we’re bringing that top-tier talent to them.”
Garber assembled a panel of subject matter experts from a variety of industries and disciplines, all of whom will be sharing their thoughts on what it takes to build a successful business. They are:
- Paul Giannamore of The Potomac Company and The Boardroom Buzz.
- Phil Rinehart of the Structural Pest Control Board and Law Offices of Phillip Rinehart.
- Patrick Moraites of Axis Group and HR Shield.
- Patrick Baldwin of FRAXN.
- Mark Steward of Strategic Accounts.
- Mike Harris of Uproar PR.
Garber is confident the conference will provide a unique opportunity for owner and operators to build meaningful connections with top thought leaders, and he’s looking forward to two days of empowerment, ideas and inspiration.
“My personal mission is to support growing pest control companies through their expansion,” Garber said. “The Powership scholarship is our way to give back to the industry and we’re super pumped to see what the future holds for all our attendees.”
