Jacksonville, Fla.-based McCall Service joined a local non-profit Hunger Fight for the 10th annual Hunger Fight event, which supports the donation of over 208,000 meals for children in two hours.

All of McCall Service’s Jacksonville offices came together to donate their time and support to the event. The Jacksonville offices have supported the Hunger Fight for four years.

“This event is fun, high energy, and a great way for us to give back to our community in a big way,” Nate Devaney, Jacksonville East’s service center manager, said in a news release. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring everyone in McCall’s Jacksonville service area together for an incredible cause that we know will pay dividends for years down the line.”

The three McCall teams boxed 37 cases, or 1,554 meals, to contribute to over 200,000 total Hunger Fights donated.

Hunger Fight started in 2012 to provide all children and families with access to food, books and the tools necessary to achieve success in future endeavors. Since its inception, the organization packaged and delivered over 16 million meals and 201,000 books.
