The New England Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) will present its first webinar of the year titled “Make Lemons into Lemonade” on Feb. 23 at 12 p.m.

The discussion will include:

  • Customers have choices
  • Checking your teams’ temperatures
  • Gaging your customer’s experience

Mickey Thomas, senior vice president of customer care and inside sales at Arrow Exterminators, will be the speaker of the webinar. Thomas oversees all business data reporting, inside sales reporting and budgets, administrative training and reporting, and leads a team of 40 that directly manage more than over 500 employees.

Her passion for training and innovation have given her multiple opportunities to serve in leadership roles for the company beginning in 2007. Thomas has been honored with several awards including Impact Player of the Year Award two years in a row. The professional highlight achievement that she received in 2019 was being promoted to join the executive committee for Arrow Exterminators.

Outside of work, Thomas participates in many conference as a part of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) Committee and enjoys spending time with her husband and children, working in the yard, shopping and watching her daughter compete in Jiu Jitsu.

NEPMA awards 2023 Vendor of the Year

The New England Pest Management Association (NEPMA) announced Karen Boniface, of BASF, as the 2023 Vendor of the Year.

The NEPMA Vendor of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has helped member companies grow and is a supporter of the association. Boniface has been with BASF for 45 years and will be retiring in February 2023.  She has a history of supporting New England pest management professionals through training, field demonstrations and attending NEPMA events.

“Karen will be greatly missed by everyone in New England when she retires,” according to the news release.
